Residence XII was chosen as one of several recovery programs to pilot a new and exciting resource to support recovery. Seattle startup WeConnect has developed digital technology to connect the recovery community. The Seattle Times reached out to Residence XII’s outpatient counselor Andrea Arany-Kovacs for her feedback on how this smartphone app positively affects the road to recovery.
According to Andrea, the WEconnect app – which enables individuals in recovery to track their days and activities while empowering them to easily reach out to sponsors or friends – “provides added accountability, structure and support.”
